Hey, i'm fairly new and i'm building some stuff and i could use a model a body so i don't have to build one around a gas tank. I found this body for sale and was wondering if it's worth $1200? It looks REAL solid! I don't think it's real unreasonable in this present market. I've got a feeling it ain't gonna' last too long at that price! Somebody's gonna' scarf it up! Beggars mounted will ride their steeds to the Death!
that seems like a great deal. I paid 1000 for mine three years ago, and that looks even better than what I started with. They are not making those any more and with as many people that seem to be building A sedans lately I can see the prices going up considerably in the next few years.
now I know why the price of this tin is going up... it's all the FNGs on the hamb... please go back to riders & muscle cars...
I went and looked at it too. My opinion, and apparently only mine, is that it isn't worth it to me. It looked much better in pictures than in person. Between needing the bottom 3 inches on every single panel, no other parts except for the shell, and not having 100 hours or so for metal work, I p***ed on it. I already have a couple projects/bodies, so that may be a factor too. On the good sides, what isn't rusted out is fairly straight. Patch panels are available. Doors and hinges are fairly solid. It's a *****en body style. If you buy it, Jason seems like an alright dude. Maybe you score that frame on e-gay that's down here in mechanicsville.
