Drove the panel truck today for the first time in nearly 3 years (broke on the way to the 2013 H.A.M.B. Drags). New GM crate 350 runs great. Newly rebuilt T-350 shifts great. Newly rebuilt 8" rear is smooth and makes no noise. The new brakes stop like they should. Power steering pump no longer leaks. etc. etc. etc.

For me it's sort of like the first time I drove it when I replaced the flathead with the 283 and drove it sitting on a 5 gallon bucket.

    WAHOOOOOOOO!!!

See y'all at Dewey. and Wayland. and MoKan. and STL (Hot Rod Hundred). and Quincy. and probably other places.

Glad it's back on the road. I used to see that truck on the road a lot.

It is good to be back on the road again. I really like the driving part of this madness.

    See you soon.

I was thinking about Clarence awhile back, hadn't seen nor heard.
Good news, I feared he went out back to sit thru the inevitable new builds...
