Not much art this week for me. Limited myself to 20 minutes to do this. Taken from some pic that was here on the HAMB.

  2. Thanks for all the cool art. I get lots of cool ideas from you all. My drawings are for myself only. I'm not two hi tech, a pencil and big eraser. ha. ha. Ron... 052.jpg

  3. Mark A, I really like your style, and the way you draw your girls, they are the best that I've seen. I look at your sketches, and try to learn how to draw them is that OK? Ron...

Sure Ron. I don't mind at all. If my sketches help you in any way, I don't mind at all. Thank you for the compliment.

Pretty sure I've put this one up before, but seeing as it's an ANZAC theme this week, here's the art I drew for the 2012 NZ Nationals logo - all marker with a bit of airbrush.

I remember my grandparents had a Old dictionary and what have you book, that had a section on how to draw people, should a group of men and women standing next to cars in various poses, and broke the anatomy into a series of curves lines andshades to imply curves and motion. .By the yeaars of the cars (roadsters of the mid 30s) it seemed to be from the immediate prewar period. I wish I could find one like it now.

Close the week end with a few misc pin-up stuffs. Hope all is just bonny down under boyz, enjoy some good music and fast cars and visa-versa... and "knock a few heads" back for me.

Let’s call her “Hannah” while the piece is ***led “Martini”.
I’ll be sure to do one ***led “PBR” some time.

great show as per usual. Have not been around in a long while through various reasons and have not painted anything HAMB friendly, all way too much o/t. But being a kiwi, being ANZAC themed show, want to post something eve if been seen before.

Thanks Dan. It is also the property of Denise (hotrodladycrusr). She bought it on a HAMB Alliance auction.
I did most of the color work in my hotel room, evenings, when I was out in Burbank, working on The Simpsons Movie.)

  27. Thanks butch. :) It's a filter in Photoshop initially, plus I use a series of other effects/software which are all combined. :)
Still learning and very much an amateur.
