So I went out rooting around on a semi-local farm searching for salvageable parts for my AV8 project. I managed to find a handful of bits and pieces I need and some just cool old junk, but no luck on the body or F1 steering box that I was hoping to find.

I lucked out in one area and managed to find a good engine in this 46/47 truck:

He also had this body/frame that he wasn't sure what was sitting in another laydown yard on his property. I didn't find any markings to identify it either. Anyone know?

The coupe is a 1920s Dodge Brothers.

Thanks! We stood around for half an hour trying to figure it out and that is probably the only marque that didn't come up.

the truck is pre-war, not that it matters. could also be a transplant engine.

So did the '41 big truck use the '46ish style grill? I'd look into the engine anyway.

It's a different grill than a half ton,but nowhere near the jail bar grill of a 46/7
