thanx folks - glad you like the work
will post even more step by step oics till the car is done -- I'd like to drive it next spring :)
    -
leadsleadolds -- the pit was done by myself -- but I think I'd never do that a gain -- what a hell of work - brr incredible - had to put away all the ground with my hands (no tractor or something like that)
its ~17 feet long and ~3 feet width - but had to put out a lot more to built it
    -
    poncho62
-- the brakes are a kit I bought by harmons (incl. dropped spindles, main cylinder , booster, comb.valve, calipers...)--- was easy to change and they are workin great (but wait - what can I say till now :))
--but I know a disk set for ponchos are realy expensive

Hey buddy, glad to see these pics!
It´s amazing to see how well it turned out! It´s even more amazing for me because I knew the car even before you got it and I can´t believe what amount of bodywork was done to this car.

To all of you who didn´t know it before: It was a pretty rusted Canadian car nothing what one would call a "no brainer".
Awesome! That´s one hell of a job!

BTW, Rainer, the rest of your parts came in today. I´ll bring them to your place on 24th/ 25th.

glad you like the car -- the last 3 days I spent 35 hours -- oh yea - a hell of fun -- never grinding and all that dirt work on THAT car - it's only fun working on her now

Awesome Rainer. You are the fastest car builder I know. The painter did a great job. The colour looks very good, when you told me the combo last time I visited your place I can't realised that the combo looks so great.
Best family car I ever seen.

Love it. Makes me wanna go home from work and tear into our '58. How'd you find a painter to get your car back so quick?

    Looks great Rainer! Wow!

  29. I wish I could get the time away from the child to really get some time in on my car. My Building is much slower now.
I really love the color combo you chose. I was going to do an antique white (off White) for my two tone, but I might have to do i touch more cream after seeing these photos.
