I thought I would post an update on what I have been doing over the last month or so, I have now finished rewiring 90% of the coupe, got all the gauges working accurately except for the speedo still needing some work, remounted the booster and fitted an old fire extinguisher as a back up tank for the booster, this has improved the braking so much, redone the carbs and tuned them to the best I can get them. Lowered the rear of the car another inch or so, it's sitting better again now. Still lots of little things to do and to change around to personalise it to how I want it to be, but it's all about having the time. I also found and have now picked up a heater that I will also Install soon as well.
killer looking car! I was just wondering where you found those air scoops? I've been looking for 4 of those for my 29 coupe.
Thanks Dennis for your feedback, I appreciate that very much. In relation to the those scoops flathead freakv8 I purchased them here in Melbourne Australia where I live some time ago from a local business, I purchased 6 of them at the time, all in use on different motors now that I have. I really liked them at the time and I think they are being made by this business's website below. www.kustomink.com.au I'm not sure how it would work out but I would suggest contacting them direct, good luck and let me know if I can help in anyway at all.
nice KAR, love the 46 slash early 47 like mine paint color is killer, nice touches all around, keep it up, TJ
A mocked up picture thanks to the moose with steel wheels and caps that will be used as a second set of wheels from time to time for a change.
Hey FB yes I will be at the boogaloo for Saturday only, I have other commitments on the Sunday so I will be coming home on the Saturday night which is a bit annoying but anyway you get that, what about yourself are you making the trip to Castlemaine for the weekend? We will have to catch up if you come.
Yeah mate just the Saturday for me too, the missus is working so I'll have the kids with me. See you there.
