Your kidding, right???? You can't possibly expect a real number with only that little bit of information.

$5,000 to $250,000 if you do it all your self. If you pay a shop to build it, you better call one and start talking specs, details, and budgets.

  3. i have practically the same car as you posted, but it is set up for a sbf
trust me it takes waaaaaaaay more time and waaaaaaay more money than you think to build a car.
you could have mine for $5000 and just put some new motor mounts on her and go running
its got real mag american racing wheels and new tires and slicks
9 inch with 410 gears disc brakes
    moon tank
    new harness
    tk

    Hi,
Just seeing this thread now, the pics you posted are my car "The Hilltown Shaker" that my dad and I built. While not disclosing exactly how much it costs we go 9.50's in it consistently and its home built. 3 years in it to get down the track, another 3 of tuning it and racing. I'll tell you from start to finish it was less then a new Acura, but if you had a shop do it there would easily have been six figures worth of hours into it.

If you just want a ch***is , go to a professional drag race ch***is shop in your area and get a quote for exactly what you want. Racingjunk.com is a good source for used cars rollers to complete cars. It took us 3 years to build the shaker after starting with someone elses unfinished project. We had to undo a lot that had been done so be careful to scope out how much work is involved in buying someone elses project
Good, luck, There is a lot of good info on HAMB, but try to include as much detail as possible when posting a question

Figure what the material and labor will cost and triple it The frame and rear end on mine cost about 1500 and I did all the work myself (welding etc. ) I had the front axle and rear end already. as far as not wanting to go fast, that will last about a month. I`ve got 5k in the motor alone.
