51 Chevy Pic request?

Just found a 51 Chevy hardtop for sale in my area. Looks like a solid car. Has a 327 in it. Needs some paint and some interior. Selling for $3000. Think Im pulling the trigger Monday for the purchase. have been looking for a project for me and my son. This may be the right one for us! If anyone has any pics they could share for some ideas I would appreciate them,thanks! Not to familar with these 51's.

 

My girlfriend is working on one right now and is having a hard time finding any good pics, stock or custom.

Keep in mind that hardtops and convertibles are not that common, so some parts are rare and expensive. For example, the rear windshield gasket... over $400. The Front one is almost as much. She didn't know that walking into the project and it's been a rude awakening.

Thanks for the post and pics,they all look great! Should know by Monday when the guy gets back in town, He's down at Daytona at bike week. Said he's coming back Sunday but will be to hung over to get to his shop to show me the car close up. I told thats perfectly understandable!
