Guys, where can I get a float (fuel) sending unit for my '57 Special? I got one from a vendor that 'said' it was the same as for a 55-57 Chevy but it's way off. Mine is only a float and the one I got was a pickup and float and can't come close to fitting.

Buick and Chevy parts are different. Everyone knows that, right?

If they don't reproduce the part for a Buick, maybe you could remove parts from the Chevy sender to repair your sender. I've done that quite a bit over they years...

Get a copy of Hemmings Motor News, "The Bible of the Hobby since 1954" find the Buick adds, find sending units, contact vendor.. What a concept, a magazine loaded with old car parts..

Well, oldbuickparts.com seems to be my answer, guys. If what they pictured is actually what I get we're all good! Thanks!
