Thinking about purchasing a 1929 Chevrolet roadster for a good price, I'm new to this and it's something I've always wanted to do. Rear end panels ( basically fronm doors back is missing.) I've been trying to find parts for this thing and seems almost impossible.. Can anyone lead me into the right direction or if anyone has any parts for sale or know someone that does please advs ... I know this is going to be a hard build but super inspired but need a little help ., and now I know I'm at the right place . I know these things had a lot of wood in them , and the reason why they are so rare, but I love a challenge.... Thanks for listening.

  3. David, Welcome to the H.A.M.B. If The 29 is a good price, I would buy it. And not wait to find the rest, as that may take some time. This is the best place to be on a project like that. I wish you were on the right coast. My friend Craig Naff could just make that for you. As you know we like pictures. lol I'll be a look 'en. Ron...

Welcome David, I'm sure you'll be able to get the information your looking for here! I have a 29 4dr sedan and yes there's a lot of wood involved. You can try Bill Cartwright at KC Wood Manufacturing or Jim Rodman at Auto Wood Restoration. Jim's a little more reasonable on price.
Bow Tie Reproductions will probably have a lot of stuff you need too!
Good luck with the build, don't forget the pics. 1463186556200.jpg
