I ran across this photo of the Ford Dealership where my wife's grandmother purchased our '54 Ranch Wagon off the show room floor, the photo was obviously taken in 1957. The building still exist and has housed several different businesses over the years and has under gone several facade changes along with some demolition. As the building stands today. HRP
Thank you, yeah I'm improving and as soon as I can drive stick I plan on recreating the photo by parking the wagon in front of the building HRP
You know that's a good idea,I do know another guy here in town that has a '54 Ford and he usually shows up at the downtown Fathers Day next month. I'll talk to him about it,the old dealership is just 6 blocks away, Thanks again.HRP
You have the car, shouldn't you really buy the dealership garage to go with it? You know, the original packaging
I never thought about that but I owned a business downtown up until 2004 and the property taxes were a deciding factor in my retirement and subsequent sale of my building & land. Knowing how building and codes work here in my home town I would be required to bring the property up to current codes, that would be the nail in the coffin. HRP
Heck, I could live there. Looks like plenty of garage space and room for a bed. What else does a car guy need?
Bought new place the other day. Eight car garage. fully insulated, running water, heated and cooled, three phase electricity - the whole ball of wax. I think there's a house somewhere on the property too.
Very cool - but even cooler will be the next picture with your car (and others) parked in front! cheers, Ray
Al ong with that, I'd photoshop the ranch wagon in front of the original building. Only thing is, it looks better than a new car.
Thanks Tim,the photoshop deal would be cool but I am totally inept when it comes to that kind of stuff. Once again Brenda & I enjoyed meeting you and your lovely bride and on your recent trip to this area. HRP
How about that, and all this time I thought the Moose was a guy, after checking out the web site I was pleasantly surprised to find that The Moose is a extremely talented Lady. HRP http://www.tamaramorrisongraphics.com/custom-tees
