swap meet near Dallas?

I was told about a swap meet this weekend somewhere near Dallas? Carls corner, or Ciecal's field, or something like that?

Anybody know what the hell I'm talking about? =)

 

next weekend is the pre war swap meet in chicksaha ok.

about 35 miles east of dallas.

 

What year Ford? Palmer took the one out of his '59 b/c it had a tiny leak, but didn't have time to take it to the rad. shop, so he put in a new alum one instead.

 

If I remember correctly, his Galaxie is a '66. Don't know if that'll help any.

Yep, its a 66 Galaxie. 352 4brl. I don't know what the other years look like. With a big enough hammer I suppose I could make anything work. Since my previous life dealt with fox body Mustangs I thought about using one of them. I could probably pick one up cheap from someone who swapped out for a 3 row.

Looking at the radiator, I might could repair it, but I don't have a lot of confidence in my soldering skills. Especially for going all the way to Austin. Part of my leg of the trip will be do drive down to Bellville (another 100 miles) to meet up with a buddy who's Dad supposedly has a lot of A parts he would sell cheap for my 28 project.
