Technical Acc supply to Relay fused?

Does the acc source need to be fused on a relay? (Relay is line, load, ground, acc)

I stole what seemed to be acc power(radio acc) on an 'out of the box' unit. That worked well in testing, but after terminating ends, I dropped from 12 volts to .13.

Fuses are there to protect wires. If there's a wire with voltage at one end of it, and it could get shorted, what would happen? Would the wire get hot and start a fire? or would a fuse blow?

No way of knowing what you need without more info, sorry.

Disregard... problem solved. A lighted switch had a misleading label; and popped a fuse.

Terminating ends = putting something at the end

Now that would be equal to a terminated circuit ;)
