So awesome! Perfect stance and proportions. Well done, Henry.

As many have said, Gibbs works great to protect bare metal. Corrosion X is another very good option.

Just got the center caps on. The seat is the only thing left to do until next winter. Thought I would post a couple pics.

Angry fuc**in coupe. Great work I like it unpainted too.
You live about 1 hr west of me near Canton.
Took the overnight Ghost hunt in the Mansfield reformatory. Really creepy place.
    Love the coupe. PJ

Wheels look killer. This has been one of my favorite builds.

    PERFECT!
Where did you get the wheels? What manufacture? What widths?
Where did you get the tires? What manufactures?
    Hubcaps, who makes them?
    -Thanks

What is your plan for the seat?

I have a glide seat in it that just has a blanket on the springs. Henry is drawing up a design for the seat. He said he had an idea for it so I figured he has been spot on with the rest of the build who am I to question him. His eye for the overall look of a car is amazing. He is so talented, I am blessed that he did my car. I will post a pic of the seat when I get it done. Not sure how long it will take but hopefully not to long.

The wheels are 18x5.5 in the rear and 16x4 front. Tires are firestone 7.00x18 rear and 4.50/4.75x16 front. Caps are from early ford. The caps are painted on the outside rim about 2 inches to make the cap look smaller. If you look at a close up of the pics you can see it.

    Thanks....killer hot rod!

Gibbs is good, will not screw up a future paint job.....try it, you can always go to plan B if it is to much of a h***le.

Curious as to the clearance height between your front axle and bump stop - and the clearance height between tire top and front fender??

  14. Really like the car! Do you get any scrubbing issues while turning up front - with bumps at the same time? It sure looks like there can't be much fender clearance. :)

The only time I have had it rub is turning sharply into a driveway that had a curb on it as I was going in. I haven't had any issues with any rubbing while driving on back roads or highways. I can live with a little rubbing.

CONGRATS ! KOOL CAR ! Waiting for a painter to chime in on oiling body, thinking oil will get into the metal and will give you grief if you want to paint it someday. I'm not a painter, Unless you count painting cars/racers in driveway in many years past, So..... I'm a curious George this AM.

Henry drew up a design for the seat, it will be covered in water buffalo leather. It should look awesome when it is done. I will post pics when I get it finished.

Just got the seat back from John Miller at Sullivan Upholstery and (I think) it turned out awesome. Water buffalo and ostrich leather. Next is changing the steering column and steering wheel along with maybe a different dash and gauges. That project is for this winter. I would like to put some heat and sound deadening in the car but I am not sure what I want to use yet. IMG_2861.JPG IMG_2863.JPG

I Just seen this thread, And before reading any of the post I could tell Henry Richards had something to do with this one. Completely his style, And Just an awesome stance. I personally am not real big on fenders, But when they look like this it makes me wish I had not sold all my fenders....LOL
