My 40 is still in the shop, so here's one from a few years back.

That's my 40 stake truck poking it's nose into this photo. Intrestingly enough, that is the 40 sedan that was scheduled to be in the Junior Johnson booth, at the prior years Man Show, which the stake truck became a last minute substitution for.

Good morning all, some more from the RoyBoy archives to start your Wed morning

 

RoyBoy's magazine spread of McPhail's '40 hot rod! The Tumblr blog (2012-2016) of RoyBoy's pics has proved to have a number of '40s, some already posted on here but in a different pose. I visit several of these hot rod blogs but none have the percentage of '40 pics that RoyBoy's does. Perhaps he, like us, has a soft spot for 1940 Fords. I probably have enough to go to the holiday on Monday.

Great, keep posting guys, this thread will be a definitive review of '40 Fords. Some more from RoyBoy this morning, sun is out in NH and great day for a ride.

I can't remember if that particular photo was posted, but I did post a pic that included it, @roadsterpilot's '40 4 door, my stake truck, and Lonny Moore's '40 standard and '40 pickup, at the Pete & Jake's open house. Roger Ward owns it now, and he swapped out the bias ply tires for some radials.
