Jeez, I joined this group about 15 years ago, built a 29 Roadster here and even had a full on Hot Rod shop in orange for 2 years, but after a heart attack and a bad business partner, I shied away from some of the limelight and refocused on getting healthy and feeling so much better. My mum p***ed away recently and realised how short life can be, seeing she was only 19 years older than me, never smoked, drank and was a vegetarian and died of cancer. She loved Hot Rods and when I was back in The UK I took her out in my 3 window, I had to laugh as she was Chicken Winging and when I stopped outside her house, she could not get out of the coupe as her arm had sandwiched in the window frame, I had to pull her through the drivers side to get her out- How we laughed. Here is my old Right Hand Drive Three Window in the UK back in between 1988-1990. Hope you dig it. I am 50 pounds heavier and have more wrinkles than an old unironed shirt.

glad your back....if it wasn't for my mom's blood line....not sure where I'd be....pop's had a hot runner just before she was born.....had the heart bump in the road as well....we're here for a reason....

Thanks guys, well my New Roadster is coming together, still looking for parts but this will be on the road in 4 weeks. Looking for 36 Torque tube to make headers, also need 1936 Dash water fall, Glove box door and guages and a 40 ford steering wheel.

Welcome back to the gang Carpy....I recently lost my mom too, and she was also a big fan of my hot rods & loved our weekly jaunts for ice-cream....it means a lot to me now, and adds some very real "heritage" to my cars when I drive them now...special memories all add up....sorry about your loss man! The pics are totally awesome!
