A buddy and I picked up an old truck in a bundle deal here on the HAMB recently and decided to build it to sell to fund a `37 sedan project. It turned out so well I thought you all might like to see what a 60 day project can look like. We`ll have it at the Springfield Swap this weekend. 302/C4/8" ford IFS/Chassis Engineering rear It runs and drives very well. Enjoy.
Sexy. Very nice. On a side note I really like your shop area. I respect a feller that keeps his area clean and tight.
Sweet! What did it look like before? ...or better, what's been done and what's your asking $$$? (Just to complete the info) Love the looks of those trucks!
For the Nazis there will be a properly placed ad in the for sale area today. I just thought you all would like to see a very quick build. For the clean shop freaks, my buddies always swear I must do my work elsewhere but I try to do the grinding, welding and bodywork outside. I wear out a broom and ShopVac each year. 60 DAYS?!?! goddamn I'm going on 8 years with my 40. Nice job. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using H.A.M.B. mobile app
Not really, notice the number of body ribs on the cab, the 39 Beer Barrel has three ribs, the 40 went to two. But anything is possible with time and lead. Though I have a 41, I always like the 39's
60 days? Wow! I'm in year 42 of what may be a 60-year build. I just love those horse collar grills on the late 30s trucks. Some lucky rodder will snap that up in a heartbeat.
I have a 39 I'm getting ready to restore as well... love what you guys did with this one! I'd like to know what steering column/wheel you went with? Also, wheel manufacturer and size? Thanks for the help.
