finished cutting the gr*** at home and down my parents house along with a bunch of other chores and decided nothing cools you off better than the cowl vent so went for a ride.

Best wishes on what could be the hottest Memorial Day weekend I can remember.

So many gave their all so I could have a lawn to mow and a highway to zip down.

    Thank you!

Hey, this is a cool thread! See what I did there haha...

I took the bird for a spin around town, top less of course! Ole lady snapped a pic backing into the drive. Then in the evening we took a ride in town to the local ice cream spot and saw the sunset from the beach! Hope yall have a great, and safe Memorial day weekend!

Worked in the shop some, it's not very warm here, only in the 80s. Should warm up by the end of the week, then I'll head up to Vegas and cook in Phoenix on the way

ford.jpg today we rolled the windows down on the old ford with the fresh 390 and drove an hour to boise to have the rite aid minute clinic doc look at my eye because some **** fell out the the 1950 wheel well at the wrong time. we ate bean and cheese burritos from los betos and drove home 125 dollars poorer for doc fees and eye medicine because a 30 year mechanic didn't wear his safety gl***es.

Sorry to read that ^^. Take care and hope the eye gets better. I think we all do stuff like that from time to time.

Maybe I'm lucky that I can't see much with out my gl***es?

Started out Friday night up in Canada(Oshweken Speedway)to see a sprint car race and brought some good Canadian beer home.Saturday my son and I cleaned up the estate and then had a bonfire with friends down next to the river and drank said beer.Got the brakelines ran on my T Bird and tried firing it up,Dammit..stuck solenoid. Did another bonfire across the road and finished off said beer.Went to flea market today and bought a bunch of stuff to sell at Hershey. No drinkin today, had to work at 6pm.
None of this would be possible with out the brave sacrifice of those that gave it all to keep us Free. Thank You!!!!

Pretty hot streak of weather this way...but early evening was great for a cruise to nowhere in particular. Great to be back out again. My thoughts are with those to the south and west of us here who are facing the natural disaster stuff. I consider myself very fortunate...knock on wood. Springtime_sunset-cruise.jpg

not very hot today, so I got some work done. I got a fresh motor for my 57 Suburban, which I'll install in the morning. I pulled the old one out tonight. 20160530_205950.jpg
