It's got a trunklid on it (might be real, might be a piece of tin) and a cool seat in it. The price is about right. Someone might also be able to use some of the A-pillars to undo a bad chop. Would look cool on the roof of my shop.

I used to work there. The car is a peice. Richard just wants it gone. Its in the way. The decklid is cool though. You can't see in the picks but it says "stop duece abuse" on it. it was painted on a long time ago, so its not really visable. The only good part left is the bomber seat.

bob wilson came over one day and dropped off some drums and we sat around that car and he talked to me about the good ol days and he told me some cool dirt track stories from his youth. that was preety cool.

  10. I can buff that right out...

  11. Hey, stick an early Hemi in it, paint a new number on it and go vintage racing, what the heck.

you would have to wair some goggels to keep the rust out of your eyes. some of the guys around here go crazy asking about the 32 coupe that shows up at shows here in the GMB and it is real cool but its not a surviver. The way i hear it it was built in the last few years. Lets face it the cars that were raced back in the day were beat to hell and thrown away or most of them. I know its ruff but its still cool becuse it was there and lived raced and is a real dirt car from back in the day.

When I was a kid my dad and uncles all ran cars very similar to this one. I think its very cool. For guys that grew up around drag strips it's g***ers, if you grew up at dirt tracks like I did, this is one hell of a car. Finally I get my chance to say " If it was only closer".

Remember, once upon a time these old Fords were just that, Old Fords...

    Like a 1988 Tempo is today....a $100 car....

I remember when I was a kid (1959) and my dad p***ed over a stock 1930 Model A pickup truck that was mint, running a rebuilt engine, but chopped 3"...for $65....

"Damn Hot Rodders ruined a perfectly good Model A"

I waited until after he died before I put my Chopped 1931 Ford coupe together....

I'd buy that and have them send me the seat and keep the car.

Correct me if I'm Wrong, but that does'nt look like a 32 Ford. The body lines not right and its got a different cowl/firewall area

DANG!!! I would build that, I've had this *****en idea rattling around my head for something, and that thing would fit the bill perfectly. If I could find an old dirt track car in Cali I'd be all over it. The price will probably be way over my head, and it's too far away for me to come get it.

That ol' bullring warrior turns my crank! I'd have to put that one back together as it was raced in it's day and hit some dirt tracks to show em' how it was done...back when stock cars were built at home with junk yard parts. Far cry from the store bought models built today. I know the local tracks would let ya turn a few laps with the ol' gal.

I see that you live in WVA. If you want to actually race a coupe without traveling a zillion miles, check out http://www.vintageamericanracecars.com/ This group runs races in Ohio, Indiana and Western PA. We've got a '32 Chevy coupe that was raced back in the '60s at Bunker Hill Speedway in IN. we're prepping for this season. Plus I'm buying a Pinto bodied '70s Eastern Modified next weekend to run with the club too. K9Racer turned me onto this Deuce on eBay just a bit ago. It looks rebuildable to me. If Texas and Ohio weren't so far apart, I'd add that one to our stable also.

To bad the guy says right in the sales ad the car barely steers so i would question how good that box could be.

True ..........but I remember going to Greenville-Pickens Speedway ( a Nascar track ) in the 50's and seeing these cars run. My uncle raced there and I got to go with him into the pits, as a child ......made a lasting impression.
Plus....I just love 32's.. even ruff ole beatup ones..:)

yep, crosley rearend used as a steering box. It doesnt really turn because most of the stuff is all rusted. The rearend/steering box housing looks ok. the Bobmer seat is in good shape.

The whole car is best suited as yard art or some sort of shop sign or something. This thing is rough. I have looked at it for months and it still looks preety cool.

  28. i can see how someone could say that...it has been sectioned , parts of the doors have been cut off , but trust me when i say..it is A `32 FORD 3 window body

    at least it was
