Were going to recoup the cost of design and print- then hopefully have enough dough to buy two cherry trees to plant at his folks house- will be a surprise to them so don't let the cat out of the bag.

  3. Just ordered 5 for my sons and myself.
    Thanks again

Torr's '36 made its way home tonight. It rests in good hands now.

It was very moving to see this car finally driving. The sound, the look, all Torr. It will be finished the way it should be.

    Bringing this back up -

Wow, I am still in shock right now. After digging out some old CD's and listening to "Fight Songs For Fuckups" in my car for the last few days, I decide to look them up and learn this. So SO sad. I have enjoyed KON since first seeing them play at the early Heavy Rebels in Winston Salem, NC. There was NOTHING like them closing down the weekend long show at midnight on Sunday with the diehards remaining and partying our asses off!

I was lucky enough to hang out with Torr when they played in Dayton not long after those shows. The turnout was terrible unfortunately, but you would have never known it. They played their hearts out and we genuinely appreciated it. I kept apologizing to Torr and the guys for the shitty turnout from my town but they weren't having it. Just enjoyed being there and doing their thing. They could burn a show down like no other - Literally! All the guys were great to us, especially Torr. Wouldn't even let my girlfriend (now wife) pay for her T-shirt. We drank, talked cars and shot the shit the rest of the night. I only knew him briefly but this still hurts my heart, Gone before his time, but never forgotten. Godspeed Torr. R.I.P.

Kinda short notice but this years "remembering Torr" coffee and donut gathering will be held at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline Mass. Set your GPS's to:
Larz Anderson Auto Museum 15 Newton St Brookline, MA 02445

Its not at the actual museum, go past the museum, follow the winding road to the top of the hill......your there.
Bring coffee, your favorite donut, pics of your current projects or just yourself.

    See you there.

This fell out of my toolbox last night, I'd forgotten I had it. I'm out of town this weekend but I'll be there in spirit. Hopefully Torr and Mike are on the other side arguing like the old married couple they were.
