Hello I just signed on to H.A.M.B and thought I'd say hello. My name's Marty and I currently live in Houma Louisiana which is about 60 southwest of N.O. but I'm originally from Erie, Pa. My current #1 toy is a '41 Plymouth B-coupe. It's running an old and UGLY stock SBC. It will soon be getting a new 357, dual quad SBC. It's sueded and almost chromeless. The car is sort of a mixture of styles. All of the seams have been filled, it's de-chromed except for door handles and rear bumper and it's had major trunk surgery and running boards are gone. It's got 4 1950 Pontiac tail lights, '50's Darrien headlights and turn signals, and flipped and trimmed '52 Chevy truck bumpers. It once had a full race chevy motor and was set up like a '60's g***er. Now it's set up with the SBC, TH350 and a locked 9 inch with 4:11's. It's got true moons and split and widended steelies. I dropped the front end down about 5 inches (it sat like a g***er when I got it). Here's a sad note: It has a full-size, late '60's mopar K-member, it is identical to the one in my brother's Hemi GTX, but whoever started the build shaved off all the mounts and welded in the Chevy mounts. An invitation to all who reads this: I will be hosting the 2nd Annual Colonial Village's Cool Cars & Bad Bikes Show on Oct. 14th 2006. All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We will have free food & entertainment provided by Tipitina's Night Club of N.O., cl*** trophys and thousands of $$$ in give-aways. for more info I can be reached at 985-6876-4111 or at mars41mopar@yahoo.com Thanks and I hope to make many new friends here.
