1941 ford question

    1941 ford flat head blows some water out the exhaust and boils out of the radiator ....would a blown head gasket do that ......any suggestions would be great .Thanks Ketter

    Sounds like a head gasket to me.
     
  4. You should be able to get a test kit, maybe at an auto parts store or maybe at a radiator repair shop, to test for exhaust g***es in the radiator water. That would answer your question.

    Pull the plugs & pressure test the cooling system overnight. Whirl it over next morning, & watch which holes the water squirts out.
