I was at post number 499 yesterday and now it's down to 462. Anyone else notice a similar drop? Guess it doesn't really matter, just seems odd.
When the cl***ifieds were " cleaned out " all cl***ified posts and their counts were deleted......as I understand it......some folks lost 400 or more.... NO BIG DEAL....... Whose is counting and keeping score. ? .....not me....
Actually, We hired the accounting firm of WHO CARES to go through each and every post and delete those that weren't worth a ****.
And I just thought Ryan had harnessed our good ol' Texas illegals to do some hard labor and weed out the board.
I care. I'm a selfish friendless ******* who needs to look important for newbies, and is still searching for acceptance by having as many posts as possible. To some of us, it is a compe***ion. All I had going for me was my post count. When I saw my post count had dropped, my heart sank, and my delusions of grandure died. I was somebody, but now I'm nothing. newbies will no longer look up to me. I am once again a small fish in a big pond. I'm really going to miss those 50 posts
There are a couple guys who actually ceased to exist when Ryan pressed that ****on! Sitting at their computers, wishing they were closer and had the money one minute and ....... ****! GONE! without a trace. I hear they're gonna do a CSI on it. If only we had known...... We'd have done it much, much sooner. Bugman and Roadstar, you guys crack me up! I have to admit, I lost a LARGE number of posts myself. Do you all still love me?
I dunno how many I had,,,soooo I don't know how many I lost,,, But I think a few guys might be in the hole! HRP
Hey Rashy- I still love you. I noticed that in my user cp I went to my subscribed post list and could see my replies to cl***ifieds, so are they really gone?
We did our first post recount in 4 years. Essentially, your post count went down if: - you had ads in the cl***ifieds (they are all gone now) - you had posts in deleted threads - you had posts in previous non-VB versions of the HAMB that didn't get moved over 5 years ago... All posts counts are accurate now...
