Saw the pic of the inside of your car with the big can of Monster Energy in the holder and I figured that the few hours' sleep with one eye open was probably all you needed! I like your car too. Always been partial to '56's. It has a great stance and the scallops look really cool.

I honestly can't like this post enough. You nailed it, bro. It's so much better when you can just enjoy your car and this hobby, and do so with other like-minded individuals, regardless o***e, how they dress, music they listen to, etc.

Back where I'm from, the car scene was bitter old dudes sitting around in lawn chairs not giving the younger guys a chance but I'm sure it's different here

 

Here's a couple shots driving, thought I was a real tough guy in the rain then came across these guys- serious bad***es ridin' like it ain't ****! I rode with them for almost an hour, I kept the truckers off their backs until they got off.

Nah..lots of good folks round here...man it was pouring here yesterday evening..was thankful I got my ****ty topped convertible back to the shop before 5:00... Man from 6-8 it rained like 5 inches..

 

Joe...you got it right..you got a bad *** car..and you drive it everywhere...I know it's been to Detroit on at least 2 occasions, usually during the winter, and covered in mess from the trip..

 

I think that was the storm that grounded me for the night, hit me around 10.. it was BUCKETS

 

Same thing works for me. Also found at higher speeds the sound from my mufflers mellow out.

Of all the events I've traveled to, it's ALWAYS the trip that stays the freshest in my mind! Glad you made it and sounds like you had FUN! That's what these vehicles are intended to do in my opinion, give us some ENJOYMENT and FUN! Now what was all that uncertainty about? Congrats on a sweet road trip and don't tell the boss! Joe

 

Thanks man I appreciate it! Yeah the energy drinks really kept me going but I'm paying for it now I really feel like **** haha atleast now it seems more believable to the boss that I've been sick all weekend
