Picked up ride from top man. I am really pleased the way it turned out. Was 90 degrees here and I was very comfortable temperature wise on way back home, but that was on secondary roads at 55 mph.
Nice and I like the look of it on the car too. That's going to cut into the excuses for why you can't take off and go somewhere in the car
Very nice looking ride! Top looks great and I have to admit I still have a special place in my heart for the ******* look too.
Cool add Woodhawg, but you know you're getting older when a thread about not being ******* attracts your attention more than baring it all.
At the risk of getting flamed here, we got the idea from Richard Rollins, Gas Monkey on TV. They were doing a Model A Coupe and using a 32 frame. They added the rear horns to the end of the frame and mounted the lights and a push bar off the horns. I liked it so copied Richard. Not his cheap beer, but nice idea on rear of Model A. Much Prefer dark beer.
First cl*** job the man did on your top Woody. Will have to find out details on who did it and how much. I have the frame in polished SS, a front header wood, and the wood that goes around top of ****pit, just need to do final fitting and apply finish to the wood, then screw it on. One thing I looked for that was done right, IMO, is that the side edge of the top is parallel with the door's top surface. Looked at a lot of pics of "A" roadster tops, and the profile of yours is a**** the best I've seen. Your whole build is first rate.
That top has a timeless look, often when tops are added they end up distracting from the look, not this one..good job. HRP
