way to far away (atleast right now), it is a very well done show, and thier Miller display a few years ago was freaking killer, as it included some very historically (not very hard as they are all Millers) important cars.
HIJACK! I'm a judge at the Lakewood Yacht Club Keels and Wheels Concours down here in Houston. http://www.keels-wheels.com/
(temp highjack) Redneck, I want pics!! What trans/setup is he running? The 810 w/ flatty I have is a RWD conversion (with the orig. front suspension). Other Cord lovers out there want pics too - I'll forward them. BTW, if it's a '37 it's an 812. (highjack over) From the pics and info I've read that is a first cl*** show. Also, just the venue alone is cool.
Sent you a PM. I'll have to look and see if I have any pics, but he can send some when they get back.
I don't know if there is a cl*** called Hot-Rod, but there have been a few highboys in the past, including a semi-retro, semi streetrod with an Ardun that showed last year. There's also a Woodie cl*** and a Compe***ion cl***. Warning though - anything entered better be shiney or be a survivor. It too late to enter cars for this year, but I can get anyone the info to apply for next year.
My parents are there with a '37 Darrin (Ford). Just heard it won Best Ford. It is the first car that Darrin of Kiaser/Darrin built. err... something like that. My dad knows more about it. Don't have any good pictures of it, but it's the only one at the show- Only one ever built.
