I would say to call around and see what there is to offer in your area. I wouldn't think that you would get it done any cheaper than what @alchemy mentioned probably pay a lot more for it.
Twelve years ago I got a price on chopping my 47 Chevy 2 dr sedan, just to get it in primer for $2500.00. Prices may vary.
what are you planning to do about front & rear gl*** - drop into body or? don't forget wind wings and interior window frames need to be cut ? with all of that would guess closer to $4K
For $50 a month, I'll drop over to Alchemy's shop and tell him he's working too slow. It still won't get it done in under a year, but it saves you the headache you'll probably get with any shop you send it to.
