I have one of these, 54 Champ Conesoga, rotting away down in the woods. You can read the ID tag on the diffy through the non-exsistant rear glass.

Thanks Maggie. My very first dealership gig was in the service department of Lyman Slack Chevrolet. Pretty darn cool to see the place lit up in it's glory. Last time I drove by I'm thinking it's now a furniture or carpet store and the used car lot is now apartments.

In the early 70's,the Ala Kart was sitting outside on a corner in Phoenix with an ad for Truly Noland painted on it's side.

    Hey Larry
I bought a 64 Malibu 2 dr. wagon from Clint Walker (Slack parts guy) mid 70's.

  14. Oh, that's just disgusting! That beautiful rod, that won the Grand National Roadster Show two years in a row, reduced to advertising exterminators.

Ah, one of the Town Topics in Kansas City. Started in 1937, there are only three left (one in KS that was not an oldie) This one was at 6th. and Central, I think, and is no longer there. Great grease at 3 a.m.!
