Looks to me like more of a reversion problem than a carb problem, but I've been wrong before.

How long did the carburetor fire last before you put it out?

Check out that primary booster how clean it is. Raw fuel keeps it that clean. Lippy

An "idsue' is an "issue" spelled wrong for those of you so helpful.

I'd say Lippy has it right, front float too high allowing raw fuel to dribble into engine at idle causing all that carbon fouling.

  17. Looks to me like it belched could be caused by any number of things. Running fat, load up on start, ignition timing off just enough to make it cough at start up of backfire when running. We need way more information than just a pics of a sooted air horn.
