That's a great looking ride.....love the look, and the pics of the local terrain!! Congrats on the first run...no better feeling.
X2, never thought a painted grille could look that good. Is that you in the pic bashnaka? Too cool, congrats on your achievement.
Yea thats me i was very excited as my wife and i were working on the car right up to an hour before we set off and the last job was to fabricate a towing hitch mounting bracket which we tested by hauling a caravan to the event ..and thanks for the comment on the grill it was a bit smashed up and i spent a lot of time straightening it out but the chrome wes shot and i am on a tight budget with this as im still building the 55 mainline hot rod ..But this is now my shop truck and my daily wheels
Front end looks great as does the rest of the car. If you havent already, you could try to move those front bumper guards to the side, bolting them to the next bumper's holding bolt. If like mine, due to its profile, the left bumper guard will fit the furthermost right bolting place and vice-versa. You might like the change.
Am I the only one who's curious about the one foot tall "guardrail" posts along the road?? What's the point? Seems like if you were forced/slid off the road you'd totally f%#@ up your car's undercarriage and get hung up on them.
its not a road its a driveway up to the castle and there is no rail at all they are just uprights .. they are there to stop idiots driving onto the parkland which was a problem before they were fitted
Damn.. I just cant get to express myself properly.. I meant those vertical chrome things on the bumper can be mooved 10 inches to the side!
Ah i get it ..dont know the American term but in England they are "over riders " and i will try that although i like it better without any on at all but my wife is having none of that she really likes them
Another option is to use the shorty over riders from the rear of a Courier or station wagon up front.
Sweet looking ride! By the way the DVLA (UK equivalent of Dept of Motor Vehicles) gave my car a registration number "380 UYO," obviously someone who wanted to keep the Fords together! Mine's a long way off being ready but it will be someday! cheers
