'52 Mercury hubcaps fit 15" wheels, not 14" wheels. You may be measuring them wrong. '52 Mercury caps (assuming you're talking about full wheelcovers here, not the "dog dish" style center caps) will snap onto a stock '51 Mercury wheel.

Stock 51 Merc bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2 52 and later is 5 on 4-1/2 same as 49 and up Ford.
If you truly need a 14 inch wheel you will probably have to hit the aftermarket as I don't know of a 5 on 5-1/2 x 14 inch wheel of any kind.
You would have to hunt for 57/58 or 59 Chrysler Imperial wheels to find that bolt pattern in a 14. Probably cheaper to see if one of the aftermarket outfits will make a set.

If you can not find the imperial wheels. Drill out your merc centers and find some donor outer shells and weld them . Or contact wheel guy here on the board and he can fix you up with what you need.

    '62 Merc caps? Huh? Possible...

Also, just for drill: '56 Mercs had 5 0n 5" pattern...same as Cad, Buick, Pontiac, Olds...

  8. X2 on the Imperial wheels....also easy way to lower an early Ford/Merc....
