Here's a few pictures of a 30 model a coupe I bought today that has been tucked away from the last 15 years or so. Last on the road in 1970. Enjoy it!!!
Is that a Model B distributor? With build in advancer? I seen that pic before, and might have saved me a copy cause it's so nice! Is there any chance you have one with air cleaners on? It's a damn fine mill you got there, and running a Lions head just makes it even more cool!!
I have the air filters but off for the picture My engine has a NEW, not reground, Model B cam, 7.1 Lion Speed head, electronic ignition, one wire alternator so you have clean current for the electronic ignition. The timing strip you see in the picture is so that the timing can be set with a timing light. Timing Henrys way can leave you as much as 45 degrees out. The mainfold is stick welded stainless steel. After I finished I learned that you cant do that so now I have a TIG. The tailpipe is straight, no muffler but its not any louder than a stock A. The car has self energizing, self adjusting brakes and a 3 speed with overdrive. Dropped axle. Its taken me to four states
