Gentlemen; I'm trying to look for information on a particular Ford cylinder head that was thought to be developed for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. The part number was given to me and the number is 40-6050-A2. Any help and description would be appreciated. I believe to number 40- indicates a 1933 or 1934 Ford part. Thank again.

Pike's peak ??? That sounds like somebody forgot they were called "Denver" heads for a little more oats at that altitude.

There is threads on here about those heads if you search hard enough. Like referenced by 302gmc, they were meant to deal with the altitude difference in certain areas of the country
