a hamb/music idea O/T

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by skunk victim, Mar 13, 2006.

  1. i dont know if its been run by before but what about a section of the hamb dedicated to music. bands to check out, show promotion and all that good stuff. psychobilly, rockabilly, punk and whatever else really. it would help bands get heard, shared and its a huge part of our lifestyle. i know there are a lot of guys on here in bands like myself and i know everyone has there shop radio cranked every saturday.

just an idea id like to see what sort of responce could be had.
and really...whats better than hot rods and music?

check out couple bands from my neck of the woods

I am never without my music, and love a great variety of stuff... but I'm not sure you'd talk them into another category dedicated to our bands. It's just too borderline O/T to the subject of hot rod building, racing, etc.

You can always keep a link in your signature (like I do for my art) to a page of your OWN with all favorite bandsites.

It would be cool, just not sure it would apply here

  5. Down here in D/FW we have High School Caesar!
But only because there HAMBers :p

What about a HAMB CD, for a donation to the fund.
I don't know about the legalities, but it would be cool.

I have Itunes on my Mac and listen to www.RockabillyRadio.com at work.

OH SHEEEAAATTT.... a HAMB CD would be an awesome idea! you guys need to all get together and mix an album just for us! I want first one off the presses!!!! Only if a portion goes back to the HAMB though... this might spread like wildfire baby!

  7. As a musicain I have noticed a lot of HAMBers are in bands also. I might be an old hot rodder but I love rock and roll of any kind.

I completely forgot about the HAMB music project.

That would be cool. I think we would be in.
