I've been having fits with a film on the inside of windshield on my daily driver. I used rain-x cleaner a while ago and I believe that left the film, which it is supposed to do to expel rain. I guess it's not good for the interior of the windows. Well anyway, I tried all kinds of store bought cleaners, but nothing worked, so I went to the web and found many homemade cleaners. I mixed up some highly recommended my many people and to my surprise it's the best **** I ever used and real cheap. Give it a try. one cup water one cup rubbing alcohol one table s**** vinegar
It will return. It's the plastic components of the interior farting and the gas molecules stick to the gl***. No, really. Good recipe for the cleaner, thanks.
Hey Jalopy and Ratfink I guess you guys clean your rods windows when you get home with that special formula and Brandon I hope you wear rubber gloves when you clean your windows... Oh and thanks to everyone for the tips on cleaning stuff. Gotta like the open hood blowby running down the gl***. I try some of these when I run out of my store bought stuff.
Yup. Newspaper does work. That's all my dad would allow us to use on the family car in the 60's and 70's.
Yup, that's what does it. I wondered for years why the hell my windows would haze up like that. Never had that problem on any cars when I was younger. Damn plastic car is g***ing off. Looks like someone is chain smoking Pall Mall's in there.
I don't get it. Newspaper has never worked for me. I've tried it with all kinds of cleaners and just water too. Microfiber cloths seem to work OK.
Newspaper and windex. Imstructions 1 spray 2 clean with newspaper 3 use another news paper than the used wet dirty ones to go over it to get it dry and streak free. Sqeeky clean. It works good in the shade
