    Hey just an update, got my 4o mercury block check out and all is great . so now parts for the rebuild ,just as cheap to do it rite the first time .all the rods had different #on them so all new ones .would like to do with some old speeds maybe ?? will turn the crank ,new cam may do will later . so I can use later dissy ?any advice would be helpful ??can I use the old cover version that holds the dist . thanks

    When I think of Flathead, cheap just doesn't fit to me.:D

    well I have a 8ba in my 34 coupe just picked it up this week, third time rebuild as the last time got it done must have been in rush as it was not very clean ,after machine work ?it was a poor clean job, money down the drain . never even started to install it ,so that is what I mean by not cheap .started from srcate . yes this time difference shop.
