Hey all, just came across a set of OG Mickey Thompson 426 wedge Pistons in the original box . I can't find any info on them and they just might end up on the classifieds page , but I love the old Mickey Thompson threads so figured I'd share and start a new one , anyone else have MT piston sets or vintage parts ! Let's see them , and additional info on these would be great too .. I can only find rods

I once corresponded with a guy in Cincinnati that had a number of sets of Mickey Thompson pistons. I was close to getting a set when he sent me a letter asking for one he sent as a sample back. I had not ever asked for a sample and things went downhill from there. This was long before computers and emails made life so easy.
I have a hankering to build a 426 for my 62, did that once with a set of standard Jahns 11:1 pistons put it in a car I had with a set of long rams. Are the MTs standard, of oversize?

If that is a 7 stamped on the bottom that means a 2nd or blemish , most likely did not pass inspection , but who cares at this point could collector item , I worked for MT from 65-69 and was in charge of selling .007 as we called them , how about marine manifolds for $10 , alum rods $2.00. Speedway was my biggest customer
