Hi. I have a Vega steering box that I am looking for a short input shaft for. Does anyone know a company or individual that sells parts for these boxes? I'd like to buy a new shaft If possible. Thanks for your time.

All Vega boxes have a short input shaft, unless you actually have a 525 box. Vega box parts are obsolete, unless a dealer has some old stock.

I'm guessing this is for the box you posted a thread where someone welded it.

Rockauto.com has remanufactured boxes from $87 to $160. Rebuild kits as well, but don't offer the input shaft separately.

Might be better off with a new or rebuilt box, if that clown that welded it previously has been in there I wouldn't trust the rest of it.

Buy a new one! Cheaper and safer! I have not been able to locate any parts for the Vega boxes.
