    The blue 60 Chevy must be a Biscayne because it only had 2 tail lights on the trunk with no back up light . The white 60 might be a Bel Air due to the 3 lights and V8 wings on the trunk lid.

    that;s a pretty rare stude...58!!my ol man bought a "brass hat"president that year....289,loaded...black.....nice car!!! dealer was family friend...said it was Egbert's demo!!!

    Summertime...lots to do out in the shop,then there's the ice cream cruises!!!!

    but i'll sit down and do some...thanks...

    my folks always had a new stude......mom's dad bought her a new 36 commander to go to college in,and it was brand loyalty ever since....I recall as a kid studying the 55 commander's owner's manual...I was about 5!!!

    here's my present frustration 60 lark 2dr s/w full flow 289,a/t,pretty stock otherwise...maybe disc brakes soon tho!!!

  22. Ah! We have completely different backgrounds, I can tell. As it turns out, my old man's only new Stude also was a 60 wagon. Bought from the dealer in Rochester MI. White, 4 dr, automatic(I think). At 15K miles, it was parked, and that was that until the crusher in 1976.

    Sad.

    Amazing with today's technology to realize that a few short years ago that a car could be crushed with 15K miles. That is sad.
