Jive-Bomber submitted a new blog post: The Classic Deuce Roadster Continue reading the Original Blog Post
It looks like he passed away in 1989 at the age of 55.His teenage son was killed in 72,so if the car is still around it's probably not owned by the family.
Nice roadster....but can you post the article about "Building a Trials Car?" That's really unique and interesting...hot rod rally?!?
Real nice hotrod! On a details note, a really clean picture of the tube shocks mounted to the spring shackles as well!
here's a couple pics of the roadster. the black & white photo shows it with top and the headers have been changed. The second photo is when Bill Moore owned the car. It went through several changes under Bill's ownership but kept it's original appeal, and was featured on the cover and a write up in thye January 1959 issue of Car Craft magazine. Mick
It was also in Hot Rod when Bill Moore owned it. I posted the article on here somewhere a few months back. Really love the Bill Moore version.
Heres my old post with the Hot Rod article...LOVE this car. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...correct-hot-rods.430894/page-27#post-11218112
This is the car on the cover of Car Craft Jan 1959. Shows the chrome and painted wheels and the new interior. Mick
