Back in 1967-69, we took many trips to SF. It was one of the coolest places to be during this time period. One of our favorites was crossing the world famous Golden Gate by car to hang out in Sausalito. But, we had never walked over the bridge. On our first time walking and it was extremely fun. Everything looked awesome. For vertigo fans, this is not for you...whizzing cars, 200+ feet above swirling waters, rushing tides under the bridge, etc...a little overpowering...but outstanding and beautiful views everywhere... It was and always will be a fabulous place. You Nor Cal guys are living in a great area...if i had a hat, it would be off for you... The Haight was also the place to be, you had to be there to know.
