The hubs could be rocked a good quarter of an inch. The steering was so loose you looked like a cartoon character when driving down the road, turning the steering wheel side to side damn near a half turn. I also rebuilt the third arm in the steering myself. Had to take the****embly to the machine shop to be reamed though after pressing the old bushing out and the new one in. I think The Filling Station has a service where they will rebuild it but it wasn't a problem doing it myself. Saved a couple bucks that way....it's all about the budget!

Hey Manic where are you located? I may have a front suspension that you could use if you're not across the country. It has stepped lowers, Aerostar springs, fresh shocks. I also have the steering box and column. The car drove tight and true with this front end, and it was supposed to be a fresh build. I am going another way with the car, and the suspensions is sitting...

Is there a shop that will step the control arms? Don't trust my welding skills? Thanks

Finally got my chassis engineering low rider kit for the rear!! Also got all of the old leaf spring brackets removed!! That wasn't to bad if you soak them with pb blaster for a week.. Hopefully over the long weekend I can get it installed.

Take lots of pictures along the way and post them! I'm watching closely as I am not far behind with my build. Remember, if you don't have pics it didn't happen

Got to work on the car a little!! Got the rear leaf springs mocked up and diff setting on springs.. Need to do some measuring to make sure that it's centered.. Also do the shock mock up.. The brackets are not painted so I'll take it Apart and detail it. [IMG]
