My wife and I attended a nice car show yesterday in Loudonville, Ohio. While walking around we stopped in a little antique store to look around. We didn't find anything until I stopped at the front counter and in the old gl*** case below I spotted a little flag and ribbon ****on. I asked the girl if I could see it and she said sure and placed it on the counter. I asked how much and she said three dollars. I said I would take it and paid her. She wrapped it carefully and placed it in a little bag. Well early this morning I carefully took it out of the bag and pinned it at the top of my roadster seat. It's an old ****on with just 48 stars and the old ribbon is slightly faded too.

I starred at that old ****on for a long time and thought once upon a time people would spend hard earned money for something like this and wear it with pride. I think it's time to ask God's Blessing on our great country and love that flag with p***ion again!

I'd say that pin and that car are meant to be together!

DSCF3342.JPG I think a lot of people share your opinion, we just don't make the news. Plate topper I'll run on my roadster someday from the same era. Happy 4th of July! Bob

She is still the greatest place to be in this world and all of us need to remember how it got here and what we must do to keep it great. VOTE your choice so you can be heard.

Flags- One on the roadster, a few in the shop . A blue "Forget Me Not" in my coupe I got from a WWII vet a long time ago. And a "POW/MIA" sticker in my truck window that's over 30 years old.

After traveling outside the U.S. (service and what not), there is nothing like 'coming home!' I want to kiss the tarmac...but when was the last time you walked on the 'tarmac?' Still, there is nothing like the USA! Cars, roads, beaches, BEER and Babes. God did Bless the USA! No other place like it on earth! I guess that is why people can't wait to sneak into this country...because in the long run they will never have it so good.

Happy Fourth of July to everyone.

Every Fourth of July, I put "Sousa Marches, by The Goldman Band". on the turntable and turn up the JBL's, to celebrate our Independence Day and as a remembrance to my Dad. It was one of his favorites. He played it so much that the original wore out.
