You guys out west ****! If I found anything like that here they would be halfway in the ground and what ever wasn't buried would be like Swiss cheese. nice find
The Bel Air HT is Swee..eet! - Congratulations! Pontiac looks straight & solid too, would not mind having it myself... Is the place some hidden salvage yard stash in Idaho?
That 39 Pontiac is the "big body" version! Notice on the windshield how the sides are straighter and longer and the radius in the corner is tighter, also the roof is flatter. The small body was just like the Chevrolet and has more crown in the roof. It also has the "stream boards" which was a filler below the bottom of the doors in place of running boards. I wouldn't mind having it 4 doors and all!
we could take you or give the phone number of the guy in grand view, idaho. he has a stash of cars he wants to sell.
Harley rider, look at the windshield and top on a 37-40 Chevrolet and you will see the difference. This body style was the same one used on Buicks, Cadillacs, and Oldsmobiles with the straight 8's, but when the same cars used the 6 cylinder motors they used the small body/ ch***is like the Chevrolet.
hey 60 your right .these cars were special body limousines. cant be many of them around as good as that one.
