    OK,

For all you Houston cats. The Cruze night I was trying to get going has been...hummm...blown off for a while... But it is time to get it back on track.

The third Tuesday of the month...

    March 21st

At the West Alabama Ice House

6:00 p.m. and it will go as long as it has to...

If you are going or even thinking of going please post a reply to this thread and help build the hype. If you plan on not going please lie and post a reply to this thread saying you are going to help build the hype.

Saw a couple of you at Honky Tonk and Hot Rods... you know who you are (Jabber and Bay Town Greeezer) Hope to see a bunch of you on the 21st.

Bring your ride if you can, if not it's cool just show up, have a beer and I'll listen while you tell me stuff about cars I don't know.

    L.S.

I'll try to make it, coming straight from work more than likely, and I'll be late.

If I get my short figured out on the Rivi this weekend, I'll drive it. If not, I may swing for a spare battery to jumper myself. LOL

    BTTT

I made some head way on the Rivi this past weekend on some of the stuff I have to have done by Roundup. Wiring wise, I took about 10 steps back. I'll be at the Icehouse 6:15-20ish in the DD.

    SEE Y'ALL THERE

I'll be there. Got hung up on my car, so I' about a month or so out on finishing, but I'll either ride my bike or kipe my old man's T-Bucket.

    I'll either be on a DP-90d out Harley, or a white 23T.

    See Ya,
    Dave

Think I'll swing out there tonight in my bel air. It's a 60 - 4 door black with flaked blue roof trunk and hood with air suspension... and *gasp* 20 inch wheels.

You either got a new HAMB name, or you bought that car from Mancuso Mayhem??? I see ya every now and then on Shepard.

Anywho, I'll see all you fellas there, should be about 6:30 or so.

I was walking out the door when someone that wanted to buy the Phaeton called and wanted to see it NOW. Glad I waited. Took three hours, but I sold it.

Yeah you'd better have a good excuse!!! LOL We did talk about ya, wondered where your were.
Was a pretty good showing, but is abundantly clear we need a new venue. Parking was scare, but we did whittle out the back half of parking for ourselves. And I think we need a place that has some grub.
Next month, it will be light later and at the rate this is catching on we'll have half the HAMB there by summer.

I agree with you InDaShop, that place is inadaquate for parking,I would rather see all cars/trucks together-easier to keep an eye on them.Food availability would be a big plus. Great to meet some of you.Fantastic Rivi btw.Mission Burrito is a possibility, but would like to find a place with an even bigger parking lot.

I'm glad everyone made it out to the Houston Cruze night. Saw some new faces and old ones, and new old ones there, and was very pleased. If you did not make it to this one, please come out and join us next month...and keep your eyes on the HAMB because there may be a new location.

    InDaShop,

I hope you are right. I am trying to make this thing into a cool monthly event that you can count on always being there, which more or less happens all on its own.

PM me with your thoughts on a new location. Was it you that suggested Route 66?

  27. I couldn't make it either. It's hard for me to get away during the week. Glad you guys had a good time!

Just to float an idea, how about 59 Diner? (with their permission of course) the location on I-10 west has a pretty good sized parking lot. Heck, the other locations around town might want in on a rotating cruise night, just for the advertising promotion.

    59 Diner doesn't sell beer.

And it is getting bulldozered for the freeway expansion, Isn't it?

I would just like to move it somewhere's we can all park next to each other....Like maybe jimmy's ice house on whiteoak at studemont....big parking lot, outside seating....

Second that. Right around the corner from me. Easy get off from I-10 on Taylor going west and Studewood going east.
