I have just about everything finished up on the 34 Dodge but have been running without the speedometer hooked up. I have a set of Stewart Warner gauges and a 700 R4 transmission. Is there a basic cable to use or what do I do? I am a carpenter not a mechanic but know how to do things when I have direction. Thanks! Joe
The cables are universal except maybe length. I'v got one at the shop I'll send a part number tomorrow. We use them on 32's plenty long enough. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
does your 700r4 have a mechanical speedometer drive? if so....Pioneer part# CA3002 for 63" long and CA3004 for 83", both should hook up to that SW speedometer
36-3window has got it down. I just put the stuff on I don't pay attention to #'s. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Guy I ride with uses an app on his phone, that is when he wants to know how fast he is going which is very seldom.
We just grab the basic universal one Napa sells, you will probably have to mess around with changing gears a few times especially if you have a deeper gear. It takes a lot of messing around to get it right, but is worth it in the end.
