  7. The three wheeled car is actually Wilton & Ellis. I believe Kenny Ellis built the car and ran Bubby's motor in it.

  8. Herman, you are exactly right. Kenny Ellis was a tin bender, and Leon Wilton was/is a hell of a wrench.

  9. That blown Devin on the last page is bad ass! Looks like, from the lettering on the back, it held the A/MS record at 150. That was hauling the mail back then!!

There was a guy looking for info on this car on another thread but it seemed to fade away. I think it was a Devin bodied cars thread. I'll try to look it up.

    Pat:
There is a shop located in Oldsmar, Fla. called "Special Cars Only" and about 10 years ago I was in their shop when they were taking a body out of a mold and the more I looked at it and said it looks like a Devin they told me that is what it is. They told me that they had purchased the molds from someone who used to manufacture the Devin.

I had not seen one in years at that point.

you have a great historic memory. under am/sp in the above scan from 62-63, is this movie clip of sam parriot in 1960, when he just started racing in the sports car classes at lions? is it the same car?
