Here's my situation - I'm about 1/4 of the way through stripping and patching my '46 coupe. The body is up on a rotisserie, and the new floors are in place, but not welded in. I've been fighting what I thought was a pinched nerve for the last month. It was pinched enough to paralyze my left shoulder. I was wrong. Doc says I have a herniated disk, and will need surgery. That all being said, is there any chance of getting a few MN Hambers together for a thrash? I'm not good for much besides handing out beer for the next few months, but I really want to get this thing in driveable shape for BTT50's. If anyone feels like working for beer and pizza, please let me know and I'll get it scheduled. Thanks Pat
I'd be up for that. All I know how to do is sling mud and carry stuff, if that will help. Let me know.
i would be more than happy to help im in the maplewood/oakdale area every weekend and it wouldnt be a problem for me to drive to coon rapids. give me a call and let me know i'll work for free no beer needed! -scott 651-308-7511
Man, if you weren't half way across the US I would. We gotta help each other because no one else will.
Since everyone here is so helpful and what not, if u have ne use for a 15 year old who knows a little, can use tools/weld ok, and is more than willing 2 learn ne thing about cars and fabrication, pm me and il see if i can work out coming up there. i have friends in CR so it shouldent b a problem. -stephen
i think it would be great if we could set up a few weekends and really try to make this happen, i would also be able to bring 2 more body guys along with me
i'm down with that... i had the VERY same thing last summer. c-5/c-6 fusion with titanium plate and four 3/4" stainless screws took care of it most ricky tick. you're in a ton of pain now, and i hate to tell ya, you are in for a shitload of pain AFTER the operation, but if your pain is 1/2 of what mine was in my arm before the op, you are going to wake up and not think about the pain in your throat/neck/back cause your arm pain is GONE. PS... i'd be down with a couple thrash sessions to getcha cruisin bt BTT50's gimme a date, and if'n im off, i kin haul ass up to coon rapids T
i have a hard time getting away sometimes, but i dont have much going on. i got a few skills, welding and been a while since i shot paint. wouldnt mind sitting in front of a panel and sanding out stuff some afternoon. i could use to learn a thing or two off you guys in the process. if there is a time, drop me a line. lance
I just gotta finish getting my coupe on the road and I'm in, give me a ring in April or see me at GSTA. 952-221-2571
