After reinstalling the radiator on my trucks. I began to fill it with coolant. About 30 seconds later it all started to pour out the bottom. Through stupidity and fine detective work I found the source. As you can see. The linkage of the accellorator wasn't attached. Here's my question. Where can I get the plug/bolt? To screw the linkage connection to the engine block. And two. Is coolant even supposed to be able to pour out of there. Any help would be appreciated.
1. From me via PM 2.Yes, it goes into the water jacket. Permatex or a copper washer seals it. From the looks of the rust on the side of the block, I'd clean it up & look the full length of the base of the cylinders above the oil galley for a freeze crack.
It's mostly KS dirt and mud. But it runs like a top. I just was trying to run it for longer than 30 seconds. Pm sent.
