Mad Fabricators Society DVDs- worth buying?

Folks,

Thinking of ordering the Mad Fabricator Society DVDs.

Worth it? Good flicks? Should I buy a particular episode, or are all worth purchase? Any other recommendations for some good dvds (lets keep OT, so just hot rod flicks) ?

Appreciate any opinions. Im ready to bleed some cash on some flicks.

Yeah, go ahead and get them all along with the Soundtrack! There's a guy on here that goes by "Evel" that might tell you otherwise...

 

Buy them all!!!!! NOW!!! --- As well check out Hot Rod Havoc and Choppertown which you will find more posts about if you do a search -- well worth watching all of them -- over and over and over again!
Also check out the Smokin Shutdown magazine/dvd series from across the pond -- very cool as well.

Thanks guys. Got the replies I wanted. "What are you f'n stupid, get em" really equates to the fact these must be some good flicks.... now im really excited to see 'em. Normally im in the dark ages at home, so I may have to warm up the TV

A high school kid came into the shop the other day asking about them. I told him they would change his life... cause they WILL. He'll be ruined. hahaha

 

I have them all, including the soundtracks. Can't wait for the next one, YES order all of them.

 

I bought the first two, and I will sure order the last one very soon!!! They are a very cool mix of Rods, girls and rock'n'roll!! What more can you ask for??

I have tons of boot leg copies if you need them and if you don't mind a bunch of people blocking my 19" TV and yelling throughout the entire thing. Just like the inner city bro! Evel is the Deuche of Earl.

I have 1 and 3. People that are not gearheads think I was crazy to pay $20 something a piece for them. I think they're great. Where do you think you'll ever get to be when Barris and the Alexander Brothers are giving interviews? They may not be the absolute best there will be, but so far, no one has made any better.

Hold off on buying the entire series of Night Rider, and buy the MF videos! And I mean that! MF are pretty rocking... you might ever learn a few things.

But nonetheless, ALL of the MFS DVDs are worth getting. I've thoroughly enjoyed mine. Some of the car show sequences are a bit choppy, but are still very good to get the idea of what's going on. The interviews are great! I especially like the out on the road shots, like the opening to Jimmy White's segment, and Tuck's roadster build is cool. Another good one to get is Hot Rod Havoc. I like the bonus features the best on that one, without all the music over the car and ambient sounds.

I showed some muscle car buddies them and they may be converting. What are you doing on the Hamb not to know MF is the ****. Evil = Ruler.

 

I don't want to ruin it for anybody, but in Vol. 3, Bobby wakes up and it was all a dream.

 

Evel is bad***, the DVD's are bad*** and you should be sure to buy #4 when it is released, it will be the best.
